Welcome to our new REDBRIDGE FOODBANK website
People in Redbridge and surrounding areas are going hungry today...
The Indices of Deprivation 2010 indicates that Barking & Dagenham, Newham, Redbridge and Waltham Forest all rank
within the top 50 of 326 local authorities in England on at least one of the summary measures* of deprivation.
When you have no financial safety net, a sudden crisis, such as bereavement, benefit delay, redundancy or ilness, can leave you unable to feed yourself or your family.
Such situations can quickly deteriorate, leading to relationship breakdown, house repossession or worse. Redbridge foodbank works alongside local care professionals to support people who find themselves on the edge of disaster.
